Meet The Team

Hi, I’m Katie and I acquired Buildabundle back in October 2023 when the original owners announced they were going to close. I had always admired the brand and couldn’t let it disappear. I already had my own preloved kids clothes company – Katie’s Kids Clothes – which started by accident when I decided to declutter our house!

KKC and Buildabundle are my full-time focus. I purchase second-hand kids’ clothes from families, making them available to others at a lower cost than brand-new items.

Outside of work, when I’m not running around after my three kids, I enjoy being part of a local choir and an amateur dramatics group. I also love taking long coastal walks with Mr Buildabundle and our dog, Lottie.

Kim has been with us for several years and shares our passion for preloved clothes. Her girls are grown up so she no longer has the responsibility of buying their clothes but she loves a good charity shop or car boot sale (don’t we all?!).

At Buildabundle Kim has the very important job of packing all your wonderful bundles! She also sorts, washes and organises all the clothes that we buy in and can often be found with a debobbler in hand. She knows our stock inside out and is crucial to the quality of the clothes that we sell.

Kim is the queen of Christmas and has the majority of her shopping done by July! She loves running and going to the gym.

Rachel joined us early in 2024 and is responsible for sorting, photographing and listing everything that is uploaded onto the website. That is no mean feat and luckily for us, she is super organised and fastidious about the quality of the clothes and the photographs she takes.

Rachel is a foodie and keen baker, you will often overhear her asking the other members of the team what they are having for their tea! She is a talented amateur photographer and busy mum of two.

Kate is the most recent member of the team and shares our passion for preloved clothes. She has two young girls and has to restrain herself from snapping up all the lovely new stock! Kate is our marketing manager, responsible for keeping the website and our social media pages up to date. She coordinates competitions, offers and the majority of the emails that we send.

Kate plays netball and is a keen crafter, always having a project on the go.
